Dear Scofield Athletes,
As disappointing as we know this news will be for many members of the BBSC family, in response to the demand for excellence in 2012, we have had to make the very difficult decision to remove our Scofield Triathlon from this year’s calendar.
While many consider Scofield an annual tradition and will miss it dearly (staff included), the remoteness of the area makes securing vendors, volunteers & various support enough of a challenge that we are prevented from producing an event that is up to BBSC standards.
Instead, BBSC will be refocusing all attention, efforts and resources on the other events you love: RAGE, SG, Mountain Tropic, Women Rock, Kokopelli and Pumpkinman, and will remain committed to the continued production of superior endurance events!
We thank you for your understanding, hope you’ll choose to join us at one of our other events (see options below), and ask that as this season of planning continues, you’ll keep your eye on our website for the announcement of some BIG news and BIG partnerships we have in the works.
