Attention Athletes:
  • No one will be allowed to pick up your packet for you.  Please do not email in asking for an exception as this is a USAT requirement that will not be ignored.
  • All relay team members must be present together to pick up their packet – no exceptions.
  • If you are unable to pick up during this time, please select Race Day Packet Pick-Up when you register.
  • Late registration will be accepted if space allows, but neither checks nor credit cards will be accepted.  Please bring cash.

Event Info

Awards / Results - The top 3 winners will be awarded and results will be posted in the following groups.  All finish times will be calculated using the appropriate gun time so please BE SURE YOU START IN THE CORRECT WAVE.

Park Passes - All athletes and spectators will be responsible for purchasing their own park entry pass.  Passes can be purchased at the entrance stations, and will allow you entry for up to 5 days.

ParkingAll event parking will take place near T1 at Lake Mead.  Shuttles will be provided to transport both spectators from T1 to T2 after the swim, and athletes & spectators from T2 back down to T1 at the conclusion of the race, but please remember… there will be NO BIKES ALLOWED ON THE SHUTTLES. Please plan to retrieve your vehicle, then make a quick stop by T2 to retrieve your bike before leaving the area. *Attention Athletes: If you decide to ride your bike back to T1 YOU MUST FOLLOW THE RIVER MOUNTAIN TRAIL BACK TO LAKE MEAD as entering the park any other way would require another park entry fee.

Post Race MealFREE with your entry fee, but sorry… the post race meal is for athletes only.

RaffleDon’t miss the awards ceremony & raffle!  All athletes will be elligible to win!

ShuttlesShuttles will run between about 7:30a and 4:30p for both athletes and spectators.  **There will be NO BIKES allowed on the shuttles.** Please plan to retrieve your vehicle, then make a quick stop by T2 to retrieve your bike before leaving the area.

Split Transition**ALL RUN GEAR MUST BE DROPPED AT T2  BEFORE HEADING TO LAKE MEAD TO BEGIN YOUR RACE.**  Only those athletes who have scheduled race day packet pick-up in advance will be allowed to drop their run gear on race morning.  All other athletes must drop on Friday evening.
  • Transition area 2 in Boulder City will be open on Friday during packet pick-up.  All athletes must drop their run gear during this time.  Overnight security will be provided.
  • All athletes should arrive at Transition area 1 at Lake Mead on race morning with their swim and bike gear only.
  • Each athlete will be responsible for packing their own swim gear into the bag provided before taking off on their bike.  Gear not secured inside the bag will not be transported to T2, so please don’t bring anything to T1 that you don’t absolutely need. BBSC will collect all bags, transport them to the finish line area and sort them for easier identification, but WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ITEMS LEFT BEHIND OR FOR ITEMS THAT FALL OUT OF THE BAGS, so please pack carefully!
  • DO NOT GIVE YOUR SWIM GEAR TO A SPECTATOR TO PACK AND/OR TAKE TO THE FINISH LINE FOR YOU as this would be considered outside assistance and could result in a USAT time penalty.

Water TemperatureThe water temperature at Lake Mead is expected to be in the mid 70′s.  Wetsuits will be allowed and are highly recommended but are not required.
