All athletes will leave the Hailstone PWC area at Jordanelle making a left hand turn onto UT SR 319 / Deer Hollow Rd, then a right hand turn onto the ramp to US-40 where they will continue approximately 4 miles to the off ramp for SR 248.  Olympic athletes will turn right onto SR 248 and continue approximately 6 miles before reaching the turnaround point.  Returning the way they came, athletes will then turn right onto the frontage road, Old Hwy 40 where they rejoin the Sprint athletes.  After approximately 3 miles on Old Hwy 40, all athletes will turn left onto Silver Summit Pkwy, then right onto Highland Dr.  The bike course will end by following Highland Dr for about 3 miles, through the Newpark Town Center to finally turn left into T2.  There will be two aid stations on this course.

NOTE:  Professional traffic control systems will be in place, and we are working on UDOT approval to close one lane, but remember… you will be cycling on US Highways that will be open to traffic.  Stay right and stay on the shoulder.  If you would need to leave the boundaries of the course to pass… DON’T PASS!
